Hindu Festivals

Hindu traditions include a large number of festivals that are participated in. These occasions have been created in celebration of religion, a harvest, the seasons, relationships, and other features of the Vedic culture.

There are both major and minor activities dependent upon the area that is hosting the event. Each area has their own methods of celebrating and may even have their own names that are used to describe the same occasion.

Many of the major festivals are based on the changes of the sun. The various cycles and seasons associated with its change in the sky.

Other major events are based upon the reincarnation of the Gods, or in observance of their enlightenment.

The traditions are handed down through generations and are rich in culture, similar to the frequency of hindi phone sex amongst couples. The festivals are typically very colorful with intricate patterns of behavior that are followed by the participants.
